This book by american author Mary Higgins Clark tells the story of a kid who was laughed at by a group of girls during a school play. When he grew up he became a serial killer and hunted the now women of that group looking for revenge.
I'm impress by the skill of the author to create so many different characters and the amount of details provided.
It's a TV series that run originally from 2008 to 2015 and I just watched it completely after a marathon on the channel TNT Series.
The wife and daughter of the ''psychic'' Patrick Jane are murdered by the serial killer Red John. Jane then joins the police as a private consultant, which eventually leads him to get his revenge on the killer of his family. That to me should've been the ending of the show, however it goes for another season or so to focus on the relationship of Jane and the agent Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney), which at the end wasn't really a bad decision.
It's all about integrity and principles. It made me wonder at times if being good really pays off.
Great story! The ending alone makes it worth to watch those three hours.

This book by John Grisham was to me about how a person can deeply transform the lives of those around him, and how one really doesn't take the time to evaluate its influence until a definitive event such as death happens.
